There are three different types of Mandarin essential oil: ‘green’, ‘yellow’ and ‘red’. The colour and the type of essential oil depends entirely on when the fruits were harvested and the ripeness of the fruits.
The essential oil will tend to be green when fruits are harvested in September and October, yellow in November and December and finally red in January. Khush Ingredients supplies all types of Mandarin oil exclusively from Italy.
Mandarin essential oil is often used as an additive for liqueurs. It also finds use in confectionary and is one of a few basic aromatic ingredients used in many pharmaceutical products.
This product is supplied in 1kg aluminium bottles, 5kg fluorinated HDPE containers and 25kg metal drums.

24 months when stored within advised condition, re-test every 12 months thereafter for a possible further 24 months.
